AEG, the global entertainment giant and owner of and around the arena in an area known as LA Live, made the announcement Tuesday night, stating that the deal with Crypto.com is for 20 years.

According to the Los Angeles Times, the agreement is for $ 700 million dollars, a sum considered one of the highest – if not the highest – in history in naming agreements for sports venues and shows.

The new name and logos inside the arena will be revealed on December 25, as part of the game between the Lakers and the Brooklyn Nets.
