In the 1600s, the Dutch had an obsession with a new luxury item: tulips. The tulip craving has taken over Europe, and the Netherlands was a perfect breeding ground for this beautiful flower. But when the supply can’t keep up with the demand, the price of tulips skyrocketed beyond imagination and was known as the great tulip mania.

The tulip mania sounds similar to the NFT craze of today. Highest-paid NFT artst Beeple thinks that NFTs might be a bubble. Are we all waiting for the NFT bubble to pop?
