Abstract: This talk will be a deep dive into how to create non-fungible tokens on Ethereum that can easily interoperate across wallets, virtual worlds, open marketplaces, and the decentralized finance ecosystem. It will walk the audience from start to finish creating a brand new NFT for a real-world use case. The talk will also provide an overview of the current state of the NFT ecosystem: history, market size, and misconceptions about NFTs. We’ll briefly cover emerging standards for NFTs, including open metadata standards, smart contract standards like ERC1155 that introduce concepts like semi-fungibility, and composables.
