Everydays: The First 5000 Days by digital artist Mike Winkelmann, or Beeple, recently became the most expensive piece of crypto art in the world by selling the NFT in an auction at Christies.

NFTs, or Non Fungible Tokens, are the digital signature of ownership in the blockchain technology, and have been gaining more attention and becoming more expensive in the months leading up to this particular sale. I explain all this a lot better (hopefully) in the video, and go through some of the art that makes up the massive collage that was sold on 11th of March 2021.

In 2007 Beeple drew a sketch of his uncle, and every single day since he has created some piece of art and shared it online. Over the course of over 13 years this has created a massive back catalogue which was all combined together to be sold as one piece at Christies.
